Muhammed Chaudhry

Muhammed Chaudhry I grew up in San Jose, and like other immigrant families to Santa Clara County, I appreciated at an early age, the great cultural diversity of our community. Having attended local public schools, I also gained an appreciation for the power
of education on the lives of youth, adults, and our neighborhoods. I graduated from San Jose State University in 1997 with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. I am honored to serve in my current capacity as Executive Director of Franklin McKinley Education Foundation, and hope that my local, educational, and professional background will serve our foundation and community well. I am married and my personal interests include golf and long distance running.

René D. Ramirez

René D. Ramirez I was born in San Jose, but spent my first three years in Juarez, Mexico, El Paso Texas, and New Orleans. My family then returned to San Jose and we have lived mostly on the East Side ever since. I attended Burnett Middle School and San Jose Academy. I have six years experience with the City of San Jose, coordinating after-school and sports programs for youth. As a husband and father, I can appreciate the power of parent involvement in the success and safety of children in schools and at home. My hobbies include recreational sports such as basketball and softball. I am also a huge boxing fan.
